The Restaurant Pilot is located in the campus of university in Brussels. The Restaurant area is located in the Restaurant building, on the ground floor. It extends over a surface of about 1000 square meters. Of this surface, a section composed of two patios (the orange one and the blue one) plus surroundings has been chosen to measure the energy consumption without the EDISON solution. In fact, EDISON will be installed in another section of the same Pilot area. Both sections have the same dimension, and a very similar number of lighting points. Currently, the number of users (mainly students and professors) attending the Restaurant is around 1100 per year on daily base, and around 1500 occasionally

In the two pilots (VUB 03 and VUB 01) are operative 27 ICT components (sensors) to contribute to the energy saving. The table below reports the number, typology of sensors and in particular the estimated amount of average 7.8 and 2.3 kWh saved, on monthly base, by each sensor.
